What to do on Alki Beach, Seattle Washington
Continuing the Alki Beach tradition, Pegasus Pizza and Pasta will be hosting Santa Photos (free with any purchase) again this year! Come down early for great seats. Sarah has Pegasus decorated beautifully again this year, the holidays are here! Last year was magical and everyone had a great time. Enjoy great food and drinks and one of the best views on Alki Beach! It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
We get a TON of questions asking “Where is the best place to grab lunch on Alki Beach?” Our little Seattle beach is full of great restaurants with everything from Fish to burgers.
But the best place to have lunch on Alki Beach is most definitely Pegasus Pizza and Pasta.
Not only has Pegasus Pizza been around on Alki for over 30 years, the food and drinks are absolutely amazing.
Restaurants on the beach have come and gone, but Pegasus has been here year after year and is a place many have built lasting memories. That may have to do with the owner of Pegasus Pizza, Ted Nicoloudakis. Ted has focused on building a business rooted deep in the West Seattle community, focusing on quality and overall dining experience.
A here is why I think they are the best option for lunch:
When I leave the office or home office for lunch, I want to get away from work and relax for an hour or so. Pegasus Pizza on Alki is a great spot for just that, getting away.
I highly recommend Pegasus Pizza for lunch and it is for sure the best West Seattle pizza out there!
Come down and help clean up the beach you love so much. Hosted by the Coastal Resolution Project. Get down to the beach early. We officially start at 1pm. DRESS WARM!

WHEN: Saturday, February 22nd at the Alki Beachhouse in West Seattle inside the massive heated tent, plus live music, DJ’s and food trucks galore. It’s all geared to raise awareness & money for Special Olympics Washington.
What a great turn out on Alki Beach this year for the Polar bear plunge! It is always great to see everyone out and about on New Years day! See you next year.

When visiting Alki Beach, there are places you should always visit. First and foremost is Pegasus Pizza. Either before or after you do your exploring, Pegasus Pizza is a great place to get some of Seattle’s best pizza and pasta!
They have been in business for over 30 years. If a restaurant has been around for that long, you KNOW they make some great food. The food is great, the view is great and they have a KILLER bar that has some of Alki Beach’s best bartenders. If you are coming with a large crew, it’s best to contact them ahead of time as they get busy, especially in the summer.
Here on the beach, we take this for granted, but the view from Pegasus Pizza on Alki is AWESOME. Tall windows and patio seating allow you to see the Puget Sound, boats, whales, seals… I really like hanging out at Pegasus Pizza even when it rains. Seeing stormy weather outside, but feeling warm and comfortable inside is priceless. That, along with Seattle’s best comfort food… ah… heaven.
Good for groups, couples and even families, Pegasus Pizza is a must visit while on Alki beach.
